Make your event (corporate event, birthday, friends’ party, marriage or bachelorette party) special by creating your unique perfume or body scrub from natural ingredients! During summer season, also a workshop for making herbal smudge sticks can be organized. The workshop is organized especially for your group of friends or colleagues (5 to 12 persons) at a cozy medieval cellar in the Old Town of Riga, Latvia or in any other premises chosen by you.
Each workshop participant, under the guidance of an experienced specialist of essential oils and herbs, prepares her/his own perfume or body-scrub or herbal smudgestick to be taken with her/him after the workshop.
During THE PERFUME MIXING WORKSHOP you will learn about the
origins and history of perfumes and fragrances, get acquainted with natural essential oils* (by smelling them), their properties
and the basic principles of combining them to obtain awesome scent. Finally you will create your own unique blend of fragrances according to your
taste: organic oil-based perfume in a beautiful coloured roll-on applicator
bottle (15 ml).
The Perfume Mixing Workshop is not recommended during pregnancy. Participants of the workshop are recommended to avoid using perfumes or cosmetics with strong scent before attending the workshop.

During THE BODY-SCRUB MIXING WORKSHOP you will learn about the properties of various herbs hand-picked in Latvia, spices and natural oils, have an opportunity to smell all the herbs and spices and, under the
guidance of an experienced specialist of herbs, mix your own natural cane sugar or sea salt body-scrub with the plants and oils chosen at the workshop.
WORKSHOP FOR MAKING HERBAL SMUDGE STICKS can be provided only during the summer season when fresh wild plants are availabe. This workshop is good for events with larger number of people (in case several workshops in a row are organized), as herbal smudge sticks can be made in comparatively short period of time (around 30 minutes). Participants of the workshop learn about the properties and use of various plants. Each participant makes her/his own unique herbal smudge stick from the plants available at the workshop. The created smudge sticks can be taken along as a fragrant self-made souvenirs of the event. In a week’s time the smuge stick is dry and ready for the use.
The creative workshops are organized and led by an experienced specialist of essential oils and herbs Aromatherapist Inga Nemše.
The creative workshops can be provided in English, Latvian and Russian (it is possible to communicate in all the mentioned languages simultaneously).
The workshop price includes:
- Short presentation of the relevant topic (how essential oils are distilled, what are their properties and use; properties of the plants, herbs, spices and natural oils used at the workshop; possibility to smell all the ingredients and choose those which one likes the best;
- All the ingredients for the workshop: natural essential oils, plant oil, roll-on applicator bottles and informative material “Aroma Families of Essential Oils” for the Creative Perfume Mixing Workshop; dry herbs, herbal powders and spices, plant oils, cane sugar and sea salt, glass jars for Creative Body-Scrub Mixing Workshop; fresh plants and all the instruments for creating herbal smudge sticks for Herbal Smudge Stick Making Workshop.
- The perfumes, body scrubs or herbal smudge sticks made by the workshop participants can be taken along.
Only natural ingredients are used for creating the products during the workshop.
Location: premises in the centre of Riga, Latvia (or premises chosen by you).
In case a workshop is organized outside Riga, also the transport
expenses of the creative workshop organizer from Riga to the event location and
back are added.
Only one type of workshops can be organized during the event: either perfume mixing workshops or body scrub mixing workshops. Herbal smudge stick making workshop can be combined with the body scrub mixing workshop.
